Toward that end:

1. Maid in North Carolina provides all supplies and equipment, unless you prefer that our house cleaning team use yours. Please let us know in advance.

2. You will be able to communicate with the service team. All maids on our house cleaning teams speak English, and most were born and raised in the Greensboro / Winston-Salem / High Point area.

3. You can trust our maids alone in your home. We require 20 year background checks on every applicant accepted for a second interview, not one maid is hired unless they pass our stringent requirements. If we wouldn’t give an employee the key to our own home, we won’t give them yours!

4. Maid in North Carolina is privileged to have several maids with many years of experience with our cleaning service in Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point and surrounding areas. Indeed, more than 80% of our business comes from satisfied repeat customers!

5. Our house cleaning service is based upon open communication with you, the customer. We gather as much information as possible before your first house cleaning service, and appreciate your leaving notes for our team leader. All notes left for our house cleaning team are returned to the office and, if necessary, are added to your customer information sheet for future visits. Please call our office for future additions to your cleaning requirements, so that we can add all requests to your customer information sheet.

6. After we're finished, we encourage your "Final Inspection" to make sure everything has been completed to your satisfaction.

7. After your first service, please take a moment to complete our postpaid "Customer Survey" and drop it in the mail. We're always eager to improve our service, and your feedback is very important to us. You may also contact us at any time with your compliments or concerns.

8. Based on our first service we will give you an estimate on a regularly scheduled house cleaning for your home, and we’ll work with you to set a service schedule that fits your budget.

9. If we've overlooked something during any service please call us within 24 hours and we'll be back to clean it for free, or we'll give you a discount on your next house cleaning service.

Maid in North Carolina is the employer of the domestic workers we send to your home. As the employer we are responsible for all employment taxes and worker's compensation, under state and federal law.

Should you choose to hire an independent contractor - or a maid service that sends you independent contractors, the domestic worker is considered your employee if you direct and control the manner and means by which they perform their work. Therefore, you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and worker's compensation, under state and federal law. For additional information contact your local Employment Development Department, the Franchise Tax Board, and the IRS.
